Seniors' Week
Join Albertans from across the province and the Seniors Advisory Council for Alberta in celebrating seniors and their contributions to our communities on June 7 - 13!
Seniors make a difference in the lives of Albertans every day. From supporting family members and friends to assisting charities and volunteering, seniors are deeply involved in our communities and their contributions benefit Albertans of all ages.
The Seniors’ Week 2010 launch event on June 7th has tentatively been scheduled at the Calgary Zoo. More than a thousand seniors are expected to attend the event, where dignitaries and other special guests will pay tribute to older Albertans.
Many more Albertans will join the festivities by attending one of the other Seniors’ Week events to be held across the province. Your participation in Seniors’ Week helps highlight and show appreciation for Alberta’s seniors.
Seniors’ Week 2010 will be held from June 7-13.
