Premier's Council on the Status of Persons with Disabilities
The Premier's Council was established in 1988 as an advisory body to the provincial government. The Premier's Council aims to improve the lives of persons with disabilities by listening to issues of the disability community and communicating these issues to government. The Premier's Council represents persons with disabilities from across Alberta and is inclusive with respect to age and type of disability.
