Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2008 Norm McLeod Community Inclusion Awards. Nominating an individual or group you admire is an excellent way to honour Albertans who are dedicated to involving adults with developmental disabilities in community life.

The Norm McLeod Community Inclusion Awards are presented in three categories:

  • The Leadership Award is presented to an individual with a developmental disability who inspires others through his or her achievements.
  • The Dreamweaver Award is presented to an Albertan dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities.
  • The Community Contribution Award is presented to a group or organization that recognizes the contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities and makes efforts to encourage their full participation.

Awards criteria

Nominations will be accepted until September 19, 2008.
