Licensing of Supportive Living Facilities
Supportive living provides a residential setting with services where people live and get the support they need to live as independently as possible. Supportive living settings for four or more adults must be licensed under the 
Social Care Facilities Licensing Act and meet the Supportive Living Accommodation Standards.
The standards are used to help ensure quality accommodations and services are provided, and licensing is used to ensure and promote that the standards are being followed.
