Direct Deposit
All payments shall be made via direct deposit for seniors who are newly eligible for the program.
Direct deposit offers the following advantages:
- your deposit will be on time
- your payment will not be lost, stolen or damaged in the mail
- your payment will not be subject to postal delays
- your benefit will automatically be deposited into your account if you are
ill, on vacation or traveling
You have two options in providing Alberta Seniors
Benefit your direct deposit information:
- Provide a blank cheque with your name and current address preprinted by your financial institution. Please print
VOID
across the front of the blank cheque and include your personal health number on
the cheque.
OR
- If you do not have a preprinted personalized cheque or you want the payment to go to a savings account, print and complete a
direct
deposit form (portable document format file). If you do not have Adobe
Reader to open portable document format files, you can download it for
free, or call the Alberta Supports Contact Centre at 1-877-644-9992 for the form to be mailed to you.
When you send your direct deposit information, you can mail it to the address
below or fax it to 780-422-5954. Please be sure to include
your name and your personal health number on any information you send to
Alberta Seniors Benefit.
