On December 3, 2002, to coincide with the International Day of Disabled Persons, the Premier's Council released the Alberta Disability Strategy (ADS). The goal ADS is to create an environment where full citizenship is possible through improvements in the areas of personal supports, financial supports, learning supports and employment.
