Senior Friendly^TM

To appreciate the physical and mental challenges seniors face every day, more than 160 Alberta Seniors and Community Supports staff took part in the  Senior Friendly^TM program.  The program helped raise the awareness of staff about aging process.

This commitment by staff has resulted in the sponsor of the program, the Alberta Council on Aging, awarding the Ministry of Seniors, the “Senior Friendly” designation. The designation is only awarded to an organization after more than 60 per cent of staff have taken the Seniors Friendly Seminar.
