Message from the Minister

When Premier Stelmach asked me to serve as Minister of Seniors and Community Supports, I was deeply honoured to have the opportunity to act on priorities that directly affect the quality of life of thousands of Albertans.

Since becoming Minister, I have met with many people around the province who are involved with our ministry’s programs. I have been privileged to spend time both with those who support seniors and persons with disabilities, and Albertans who are 65 and older or who are living with a disability. I look forward to continuing to learn about their issues and priorities regarding our programs, and to continue working together to help make them even better.
