Alberta Seating Education Program
The Alberta Seating Education Course for November 26 and 27, 2009 has been cancelled. A new date will be announced as soon as possible. You can complete the on-line seating modules and send in the registration form and skills review questions. You will then be put on a waiting list for the next course and notified as soon as the date and place has been determined. Please do not submit the registration payment at this time.
This online workshop presents basic knowledge and skills required to assess and provide seating services. The course is required for any member of a seating service that accesses Alberta Aids to Daily Living Program funding for seating systems.
The workshop consists of four modules. After completing these modules, please complete the Skills Review Questions module and submit your answers on the Skills Review Answer Sheet. When you pass the Skills Review Questions module, you will be eligible to attend the next Seating Education Program to take place at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary. Please use the Seating Course Registration Brochure to register for the Seating Education Program.
