Stocking Aids

Stockings aids are provided to select clients to decrease their reliance on a health care aide or personal care attendant for donning and doffing requirements. Several AADL authorizers throughout the province who specialize in lower leg assessments have volunteered to participate in this project.

Stocking Aids Pilot Project Fact Sheet

Who is Eligible:

Initial and existing AADL clients who receive funding for compression garments and require a health care aide (HCA) or personal care attendant (PCA) to don and doff their compression garments.

Pilot Period:

April 21, 2008 to March 31, 2009 or until supplies last
