The Assistive Technology for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Pilot Program is a cost-share program which provides funding toward the purchase of assistive hearing devices to Albertans who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
The program is the result of a partnership between Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Society.
The Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) Pilot Project for Assistive Technology for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has generated a tremendous response across Alberta. Requests for funding have now exceeded the budgeted funds provided for this program. The pilot is therefore now complete and a formal evaluation of the pilot has begun.
